My new song, “Another Day”. I think the title is lame, but I cant really think of a title now, so if you have a better idea, tell me. ;p I was inspired to write this after I watched “Lockdown Women” on National Geographic Channel. People questioning their self worth is such a heartbreaking thing for me.

She’s been walking around with her head downTrying to figure out what to do with her life now
She spent 7 years behind bars, drowning in fear
The guilt hasn’t disappeared
Even after all those grueling years

This time, she’s out of tears

This time, bitterness starts creeping in

It’s past 2 in the morning but he’s still drinkingIt’s his way of escaping the reality he made for himself
Left his family for another woman
Now left him for another man
Craving for his abandoned life
But his wife has already made up her mind
”What’s this life? What’s this life?”He uttered to himself
Regretting everything he did

Holding everything inside
Convinced he deserves every bit of this
Its not about falling down but rising upTake your time standing up, but don’t you dare stop
Remember that grace is given in the presence of our mistakes
It’s not about where you’re from but where you’re going
